The Queensland Government has announced a major step forward in digital education, confirming its AI teaching tool Corella will be rolled out across all state high schools by 2026.
After successful trials in 15 schools, Corella has been shown to cut teacher admin time by about 25%, assist with lesson preparation, and strengthen digital literacy. Importantly, the tool is designed to support — not replace — essential student learning activities.
Education leaders see Corella as an opportunity to give teachers more time for direct engagement with students, while preparing young people for an AI-driven future.
