UQSchoolsNet acknowledges and respects Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as First Australians, whose knowledge, cultures, histories and languages have been created and shared for at least 65,000 years.
Our vision is to build a strong sense of belonging that works respectfully with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander schools and communities in teaching, learning, research and collaboration. The University of Queensland’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Studies Unit offers events to connect with country and learn more about First Nations art, culture, society, and way of life.
