Discover the Internet of Things (IoT), wearable technology and the wireless communication technologies used to connect those devices to each other and the Internet.

This PD aims to build teacher capabilities by providing insights into the design, build and programming of IoT devices. Teachers will receive a Microcontroller and peripherals and build their own IoT project during this course. Final project can be taken back into the classroom, to be replicated by students in your class. STEM disciplines are integrated in the overall process.

This PD is recommended for teachers of STEM or Digital Technologies.

The PD will be designed and delivered by Dr. Alex Pudmenzky, Senior Lecturer at UQ's School of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering.
